The ABC's of Parenting - A Common Sense Approach has been developed to assist young females that are pregnant in high school.
Our number one goal is for each expectant mom to complete their high school course requirements, and graduate.
We have built a curriculm that promotes, encourages, and empowers the new moms to be.
This program provides the young females with tools to use to guide them in raising their babies, and teaching them to be the best mommies that they can be.
The program includes a multi-sensory presentation designed to promote positive parenting habits, while providing guidance towards building a solid foundation for their baby. Each participant receives a sundry of available resources and effective tools to help them better maneuver lifes bends and turns - while assisting them in developing their parenting skills.
There is a direct link betwween positive parenting and a reduction in child abuse, crime, juvenile delinquency, teen preganancy, substance abuse and violence. Source: ChildBuilders, 2008
